Cursor updated to 30.3 last night and now the sidebar interface no longer has the third tab, where you could index your codebase and set any exceptions. I only have ‘Chat’ and ‘Review’.
Rules has been moved to Review tab, but I see no indexing functionality, now.
The “advanced” option within chats, themselves, where you could define the search depth, inclusions/exclusions, chain-of-thought, etc – is gone.
I don’t see any mention of this in the latest changelog.
Ah, thank you. I had looked through settings under Cursor/AI, but in the main settings (CTRL/CMD+,). I entirely forgot about the separate cogwheel for this. Thanks.
This would be a great breaking UX change to detail in the changelog
and docs (which references the Cursor AI Pane and it’s “more” tab in multiple places)
