Could the tab feature be developed as a standalone product for JetBrains?

I truly adore Cursor’s tab completion feature. However, as I primarily maintain my code in JetBrains IDEs, I find them more framework-friendly compared to VS Code. There are certain functionalities that VS Code struggles with - like automatically detecting method reference relationships, which JetBrains handles more gracefully. What I sincerely wish for is a JetBrains plugin that could replace its existing autocompletion tools with Cursor’s capabilities.

I’m currently using IntelliJ IDEA as my primary IDE and Cursor for the agent. While I’m very satisfied with Cursor’s capabilities, I’m still paying for GitHub Copilot just to get autocomplete working in IntelliJ IDEA.

It would be great if Cursor could develop an autocomplete plugin for JetBrains IDEs (especially IntelliJ IDEA) to eliminate this gap.
