Crash on 0.42.3?

Is there a way for me to revert Cursor to the previous version? I just updated to cursor 0.42.3 and now cursor is inoperable.

I just don’t want to go back to VS code since I’ve invested so much time and money into Cursor at this moment…

Is there an easy way to revert / rollback to a previous version of Cursor?

What is happening?

After update to Cursor 0.42.3 I am unable to begin a working session. When I try to type anything in any of the inputs I can only get to the second letter and Cursor Crashes / Shuts Down.

Those are a few of the logs from now but what is happening now is that I am no longer having the crash issues after doing this.

  • Reverted Cursor to 0.42.0 (get from change log: https://changelog.cursor.com)
  • Restarted my Computer
  • Deleted the install file from my Desktop.
  • Opened Cursor to Get logs from 0.42.0
  • Upgraded Cursor back to 0.42.3

Now I am no longer having crash issues.

If you’ve got some issues, please can you raise a new forum post and we’ll see how we can help

Go to the Changelog to get the latest version: https://changelog.cursor.com/

Try reinstalling Cursor if you’re still having the same issue. Also, don’t forget to check out this guide:
