Cursor crashing when trying to revert many changes

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

I’m trying to revert back to a version of a program that I’m working on back across two historical chats. The only reason I had to make a second chat was because Cursor kept crashing with a Code: 5 error. I’ve tried to revert, but every time I go back to the old chat and try, it just seizes up and eventually crashes. I’ve gotten close, but it won’t actually revert, it just hangs in the ‘generating…’ stage. Its clearly related to this specific project, so I’m not sure if uninstalling/reinstalling will work. Any recommendations?

Steps to Reproduce

Going back to the chat and trying to revert changes

Expected Behavior

Changes should revert

Does this stop you from using Cursor

Hey, I noticed that you’re using version 1.2.4, while the latest version is 1.4.6. Try updating and check if the issue persists.
