Gemini June Update goes crazy sometimes spamming the same sentence over and over again like its possessed or high on LSD… I hope we are not charged for these extra output tokens if this was max mode…

Yes you get charged, sadly
also got a similar behaviour with the prior gemini version. sometimes it got stuck in an endless “thought” iteration where it does not stop spinning around the same thought.

Having exactly the same issue - Gemini tends to stuck in endless thought loops.
same here. It will apply the code and then keep saying something like “I’m sorry to hear that…” over and over again and attempt to apply the same code 20x in a row. this behavior is on 05-06 and 06-05
