Ctrl+F search: Cannot hit Enter to do "Next Match" (Works in VSCode and other forks)

  1. Hit Ctrl+F
  2. Enter a search term that occurs multiple times in your codebase.
  3. Hit Enter a few times to repeatedly do a “Find Next Match”. Doing this is faster than clicking the “Next Match” mouse button.

VSCode and Windsurf has that working by default, but not Cursor. I imported my settings from VSCode, so either (A) it did not import that setting (bug in import); or (B) it just doesn’t work (bug in Cursor).

Since I could not find a setting related to this, I think it’s a VSCode native feature…
…So I thus deem it a Cursor bug.

Hey, which version of Cursor are you using? Everything is working fine for me. Have you tried restarting Cursor?

Latest non-beta version.

Restarting seemed to work fine (this time at least).

I don’t know what happened, but it works fine today. Strange. Will monitor.
