Searching in Unopened Files with Ctrl + Shift + F

Hello everyone,

I’ve encountered an issue with the Cursor application. When I use the shortcut Ctrl + Shift + F to search for a specific string within my project, the search results seem to only include files that are currently open in the editor. Interestingly, when I tried the same search in VS Code, it included files that were not open as well.

Could anyone advise how to expand the search in Cursor to include files that aren’t open at the moment?
Any tips or guidance would be greatly appreciated!

In the “files to include” input there’s a book icon on the right side. Click on that to toggle if it should only search in opened files.

Thanks for the response!
I see, this was the cause.
I will make sure to check it from now on!
Thank you.
