CTRL+V cannot copy file names

Steps to Reproduce

First, copy the file name with CTRL+C, then create the file or folder. Use CTRL+V to paste the name, and an Untitled file will be created with the content you pasted

Operating System

Windows 10/11

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. I can’t reproduce it. Could you update to 2.2.14 and check again? Also try in another project and with extensions disabled. Let me know if the issue persists.

I am having the same issue as op. Every time i need to create a file and i copy paste the name into the editor it creates an Untitled file and puts the name of the file inside of a new Untitled file instead. Tried with in multiple projects and also new one without any extensions enabled as you can see in the screen recording. The only way it works it is to use the mouse to paste the name. I guess it is only when trying to paste via keyboard.

This is issue is fixed for me on version 2.2.20.
