Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

Hey, thanks for the report. In 2.2.x there’s a known bug in Explorer rename where pasting a name creates a new Untitled file. We’re tracking it here: Pasting text into directory name creates a new file

We need to confirm you’re seeing the same behavior:

  • It happens specifically when renaming in the explorer and pasting via keyboard
  • Pasting with the mouse or via the context menu works
  • Copying and pasting files via the context menu works

Please share:

  • Exact repro steps for both copy and rename
  • A short screencast of the issue
  • Errors from Help > Toggle Developer Tools > Console
  • Confirm your version: 2.2.14 and macOS from Help > About

I’ll update the thread as soon as there’s a fix.
