I don’t know why, but in the chat the model keep changing on it’s own. Let say I use Sonnet 3.5, I type and while I type it change to an other one. Or I submit a chat with sonnet 3.5 and then the next reply box is back on 4o or something different.
I tried disabling other model to test and leave just Sonnet 3.5, but few minutes later all the models that I deselected are back and the chat switched to a different model again.
Cursor version 0.45.4 It seems new to this version.
I have the cursor settings open, and while the chat is answering, I see the model being deselected (at that point I’m not even touching the keyboard). (Now I’m in a state where only sonnet 3.5 is selected, if I add an other model, it get removed automatically randomly).
There’s a bug when you have multiple windows open where settings from one will keep clobbering the other. If you close the background window, or change the setting there it should stop.
We have a fix out in the next release
