Cursor 0.46.x HTTP2 Workaround vs codebase indexing

Previously I am Cursor 0.45.x where I disable HTTP2 and everything works normally

Currently I am on Cursor 0.46.8 which forced HTTP2 to do anything. If I use the setting “Disable HTTP2” basically nothing works anymore, even chat mode.

I am kinda forced to enable the “HTTP2 workaround option”. By enabling that option, I can connect to the chat agent and most interactions with the chat works. However once that flag is enabled, It seems that Cursor is no longer able to connect to the Codebase Index server.

The whole codebase has been indexed before and if I disable HTTP2 I can see the codebase indexed in Cursor settings → Features. But once I enable HTTP2 and enable the HTTP2 Workaround, the page shows “setting up indexing…” forever

What should I expect moving forward with later versions of Cursor?
