Failed handshake with codebase indexing. any solutions?

Getting this output in the logs when updating codebase index and it loops. its stuck on setting up indexing…, I already tried disabling http2 via the cursor settings

Hey, is your issue still ongoing? Are you also not using a VPN or any other software that controls your internet connection? Additionally, let me know which version of Cursor you’re using.

resolved on its own later in the day. must be server side issues.

I am facing the same issue now.

So, the solution is just to wait, when indexing will be available again, Cursor Team?


Having the same issue.
This has been going on for a long time already!
While googling I’ve found this is happening randomly since May 2024.
Come on, at least a proper answer from the Devs.
