Cursor Admin API showing inaccurate suggestion data for 2 weeks

Describe the Bug

Our team (~300 members) is on the Team Plan. Currently, the Cursor Admin API has been returning suggestion data (e.g. totalLinesAdded, totalLinesDeleted) that is lower than usual.

This issue has persisted for about 2 weeks and is still ongoing, which causes our monitored acceptance rate to become inaccurate and it’s impacting our monitoring process.

We reported the issue to [email protected]
since the first day we noticed it, but so far there hasn’t been any clear resolution.

We would greatly appreciate it if the Cursor team could help investigate and resolve this issue.

Call admin API to retrieve fields totalLinesAdded and totalLinesDeleted

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Hey, thanks for the report!

We’re currently working on rolling out a new method for tracking lines of code generated and accepted that will provide more accurate and reliable metrics.
During the migration to this upgraded system, a logging bug popped up over a month ago, causing some data continuity issues during the transition.

The team is aware and is working hard to ensure no further disruption occurs.

You may therefore see a reduced volume of analytics for a short period, but it should be easily recognisable as you would likely see an equal drop in analytics across all users.

We do apologise for this drop in service, as we understand these analytics are valuable for monitoring your team’s usage of Cursor!
