Cursor Agent consitently fails to run unix commands

When working with the agent, it consistently will try to run unix commands even though I’m on windows. I have wsl installed but it will never switch to wsl by itself. If I ask it to run wsl first, it will just spin the loading symbol and get stuck, never executing.

It seems to fail to run any commands at the moment

It would be great if the agent was smarter to know to open the right kind of terminal before executing the command.

this rule for AI seems to help a lot. still would like this to be native:

Before running any unix or linux commands, ALWAYS run "wsl" to enter the correct environment, then run the unix/linux commands afterwards. Always reply with the verbatim output from terminal, including any errors.
