Cursor Agent is not able to generate .ipynb files with code snippet

When requesting the Cursor agent to generate a .ipynb (Python notebook) file with a code snippet, it successfully creates the file but fails to generate the code.

This has been raised quite a few times on the forum so I expect it is a known limitation and they are aware of it.

I did see a vscode AI extension that works with these files. so I guess it could be done but some work on their end to implement in cursor.
