Cursor Agent replies to wrong threads in GitHub

Where does the bug appear (feature/product)?

Background Agent (GitHub, Slack, Web, Linear)

Describe the Bug

Background agent replies to the wrong GitHub threads.
I had a Cursor Agent (cloud) work on some changes and open a draft PR in GitHub. I went to review the changes and left a few comments, all within a minute of each other.
Cursor immediately replied with “Taking a look”. But it posted the replies for each comment in the incorrect Thread.

Steps to Reproduce

  • Have Cursor Agent (cloud) work on some changes and have it open a draft PR when done
  • “Review” the code, leaving a few comments (within a minute of each other). Don’t leave these comments in a “review” (I did not “start a review” in GitHub). The comments don’t have to be code changes. You can ask questions about the changes.
  • Observe that Cursor replies to the incorrect comment/thread

Expected Behavior

Cursor posts replies to the correct comment/thread
