I recorded a video walking through a “printable certificates” task my wife asked for help with over the weekend. Gave some general thoughts, showed some failures/fixes. Overall, super impressed
Great, nice to see the new features before I get them myself. Two questions on the tools you are using:
- How did you install the
take
command for the terminal? I tried with Homebrew, but it couldn’t find any packages named take. - I’m using Wispr Flow for text transcription. What is the tool that you’re using for the same purpose?
good job!
What’s the dictation tool you’re using there?
- I use
zsh
andoh-my-zsh
:
- I use “Superwhisper”
It’s called “Superwhisper”: https://www.superwhisper.com/
I’m using it right now creating a little app I needed and I’m totally positive on how it works.
I will write about it when I finish the test
That’s amazing, thanks a lot.
Thank you! Have you tried “Wispr Flow”, would love to see a comparison. I guess Ill just have to try this and compare myself.
I use oh-my-zsh already, funny that I hadn’t tried just using the command… It works like a charm!
I haven’t recently. I know that AI software is changing rapidly these days though.
Superwhisper just checks all of my boxes for dictation. Fast, accurate, simple. So I’m not really interested in looking for anything else
I tried superwhisper. I think it’s quite a lot slower than Wispr Flow. Also, it doesn’t always give you the transcription of what you say, does things to text you have selected etc. I did not like that.
Please, add an option to enable running commands automatically. It is a responsible for a user to decided whether to have such risk. But if I run them in isolated VM, it would work good and safe for me
