Describe the Bug
Hi, I ran into a sub-optimal UI/UX experience when using Cursor Agents Window on Mac. I am using nightly updates and have updated to the latest version. Due to privacy concerns, I wouldn’t want to paste the videos directly in the forum publicly. Please reach out using my cursor mail address if you’re interested. It’s basically 2 issues:
- Multiple agents do not save the plan/canvas/web browser view on the right side of the agents window.
- I wasn’t able to start a new chat with an existing plan at the bottom of the plan. Quoting the plan with @ didn’t work either.
Steps to Reproduce
Preferably, watch the recordings.
a) Plan issue: scroll to the bottom of a plan. It currently lacks the option to open the plan in a new chat, as shown in the Editor View at the bottom of the plan.
b) Dragging and dropping new agents in an existing view:
- The plan/canvas window is tied to the window that opened it. When you have 2 agent windows and select the newly dropped window, the plan/canvas window disappears, even though it’s sitting on the side of the other 2 windows. If you open the plan in the new chat window, select the old window, reselect the new window, the issue remains. So the new window doesn’t even save the “state” of the plan/canvas/browser view.
- I can’t drag existing plans, for reference purposes, in chat windows. Referring to a new plan using @ doesn’t work either.
Thanks a lot for your work.
Expected Behavior
- Capability to start new chats at the bottom of a plan
- Quote plans correctly in new chats
- Save the state of the plan/canvas/browser view across multiple agent windows
