Cursor agents won't start on trial!

Describe the Bug

Essentially when I go through the pro trial, my account clearly shows that I’m in a Pro Trial plan, yet when i try to use an agent and send the prompt… I get the popup "Failed to create agent/s.

Steps to Reproduce

I don’t think this case has a clear pattern for replication. I simply made the purchase, opened the web dashboard, agents, picked the premade prompt “Find and Fix 3 bugs”, and then i got the error.

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Hey, thanks for the report. Cloud Agents (Background Agents) are a Pro feature, and the Pro trial that comes with the Hobby plan doesn’t support them. You’ll need to upgrade your plan to use this feature.
