Cursor analytics not showing up if A.I is not used to write code

Hi. I’ve pushed code twice now on the 5th May and today 19th May and these two instances, I was not using A.I. The analytics don’t appear for these two instances. If I use A.I assistance in Cursor, it appears in the analytics normally. It’s a bit strange.

Hey @Reprovoid!

Commits with 0 AI-attributed lines are intentionally filtered out of the AI code analytics. The dashboard only includes commits where Cursor contributed at least some code (tab completions or agent/composer edits), so purely human-written commits won’t appear at all.

I think it’s accurate to say that the metric answers “of the code where Cursor contributed, what % was AI?” rather than “of all code written, what % was AI?”. Does that match your expectations or are you looking for somethign else?

Hi. I see. Thank you for the clarification. This is a bit misleading though analytics wise because it ends up where there are missing days where I just code without the A.I and sometimes significantly. The analytics is used by our management and honestly , it skews the clear picture.
