I tried to install the last cursor Ai version today but it was stopped with avast
I saw that the version 0.45.11 does not give this problem, where can I find it to download?

Hi, I had the same problem and I created an exception thinking it was a false positive. The thing is that there are more people affected and seems like is related with the last version.
It would be great if we get any official communication about this as this never happened in the past. It doesn’t feel safe to install cursor anymore.

Hey, yes, we’ve noticed this behavior. The solution for now is to add Cursor to your antivirus exceptions.

So is it 100% a false positive right? Could we know why this is happening now and not before?
