HI,

I have a claude account, and when I try to use my API key in Cursor IDE, I got this issue when querying various Claude models (Sonnet4, sonnet4.5 ..):

We encountered an issue when using your API key: Provider was unable to process your request

WOuld you know why?

Steps to Reproduce

Add the API key from Claude in Cursor > Settings > Models > API Keys > Anthropic

Expected Behavior

prompt is processed with the User API key

Operating System

MacOS

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

For AI issues: which model did you use?

Claude-4-sonnet
