Describe the Bug

It has become impossible to use. The terminal constantly freezes. The agent is doing something, confirmation requests are coming in, but it is not clear what is happening.

Steps to Reproduce

I launch cursor-agent, ask it to do something, and after 2-3 requests, the terminal freezes.

Expected Behavior

I expect to see what is happening and control the process.

Operating System

Linux

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

hi @Kaktak and thank you for the detailed bug report. Which terminal do you use and what is the agent doing when it freezes?

That’s it, it’s frozen. PowerShell 7.5.4 terminal, I’m connected to Ubuntu VDS via ssh.

I noticed how to reproduce the problem. During the process, something needs to be clarified and added to the chat. The message is queued. As soon as the queue passes and the agent sees the message, the terminal freezes.

Claude 4.5 Sonnet doesn’t even handle the first request, it immediately freezes. The terminal is frozen in the screenshot. Ctrl+C doesn’t work. That’s it, you have to close it and start it again.
