Hi @Micky, thanks for the detailed report and for all the troubleshooting you’ve already done!

Since this is machine-specific (works on other devices, network diagnostic passes), here are a few things that might help:

  1. Disable HTTP/2: Go to App Settings (Cmd + ,) → search “HTTP/2” → enable “Disable HTTP/2”. This resolves many connectivity issues on certain network configurations.

  2. Check macOS Firewall: System Settings → Network → Firewall - make sure Cursor is allowed, or temporarily disable to test.

  3. Security software: Do you have any security apps (Little Snitch, CleanMyMac firewall, corporate MDM profiles) that might block Cursor’s connections?

Let me know how it goes - happy to help further!

Hi, @SanjeedSanjeed, thanks for the help! Figured it out. The issue was that Cursor was conflicting with my company’s monitoring software. Uninstalled it and now Cursor works fine.

To add to that, the company’s monitoring software is Tianrui Landun.
