Cursor Devs I will help you

  1. When a user starts a session - YOU the Cursor software, should immediately ask the user

”Do you want to be asked for permission before every file edit during this session?” And then for Gods sake follow your own rules. And why on Earth should this even be a session level rule. It should be in each user’s account. It should simply be the default behavior all of the time regardless. You have undoubtedly destroyed millions of dollars and thousands of hours of people work from all over the world.

The ask buttion is useless. It is extremely easy to lose track and have Cursor go rogue when in agent thinking you were in ask. This is a total copout and a terrible UI/UX design.

  2. Stop agreeing with everything I say. If I say dog is actually spelled cat your job is to say no it’s not - not to say “You’re absolutely right, blah blah blah”. To new users if you see the words “You’re absolutely right” you should not believe anything you read after that unless you have thoroughly vetted it.

  3. Stop over-desinging. Good lord I have not seen such bloated CSS since Wordpress 20 years ago.

    That’s 1-3 out of 100
