What extensions are you running?
Developer: Open Process Explorer
Is in the ctrl-alt-p or F1 menu.
You may have to disable all of them, and turn them on in a binary-search method to find the one with the issue (or it could be a combination of extensions)

I tried reinstalling cursor, but it didn’t work
This isn’t exactly a solution, but more of a workaround that worked for me on macOS:
1. Open Cursor
2. Press ⌘ + ⇧ + P
3. Type install cursor and select “Shell command: Install ‘cursor’ command”
4. Quit Cursor completely
5. Open a terminal and type cursor, then hit Enter
This fixed the Extension Bisect issue for me.
