Cursor IDE is completely down

Cursor IDE

Describe the Bug

Was working fine right up until the latest update to 2.6.11. Symptom: “Taking longer than expected”. All chats, all agents. Looks like the network is hosed in some way or another. Everything else on my machine works fine.

hi @art_m and sorry to hear about your issue.

I am using also macOS with 2.6.11 but can not reproduce this error as it seems to be related to your local network / DNS resolution.

Usually there are a few common options that help:

  • Restart mDNS: sudo killall -HUP mDNSResponder
  • Cursor restart
  • OS restart
  • Try other network connection
