Describe the Bug

Cursor keeps on hanging up when having AI Chat. Fixed it once by deleting my repository workspace state. But issue is coming back again.

Steps to Reproduce

Open cursor with previous AI chats. It doesn’t happened to all of my workspaces.

Expected Behavior

Should be able to navigate IDE and everything

Same here, same version, completely locking up, can’t click or do anything. Only seems to occur when interacting with agent chats/agent is doing something. I’ve killed it a few times, restarted, and it happens yet again. Maybe 4 times now in the past 30min.

Hey, thanks for the report. The issue with IDE freezing when using AI Chat in version 2.2.20 is a known problem for the 2.2.x release.

Similar reports: Since the latest update (approx Dec 11/12), the editor has become extremely laggy - many users are reporting lags and freezes after updating to 2.2.x.

The team is investigating the issue in 2.2.x. Please follow forum updates.
