I have tried Kilo Code and Cline. They are horrible compared to cursor. Their agents fail to edit files repeatedly, no embedded UI, the UI is bad, can’t edit previous messages to rewind the conversation, confusing modes, like “architect”, “code”, “ask” each of these did a failing agentic action sequence.
I just wanted to say, seems to me Cursor is still the best.
Even though I think the context limitation is uncomfortable (For most tasks I can only use gemini-2.5-pro because every other model has shrunk context), Cursor still has the best workflow and UX. Keep up the great work, and I truly hope one of two things:
- the other agentic code assistant frameworks catch up (bad for you)
- you fix all bugs, keep on top of the game and stay kings (good for you)
For me all that matters is for stuff to get done, and this is the same for every productive and hyper productive person touching these tools. Keep being kings, and make the world a better place for us, thanks
