The cursor started to be unusable after it used most of my laptop’s resources. It became so slow and stuck in each prompt and edit. I don’t know if it is a bug or a setting I’m not aware of.
I need your help and appriciate your time writing me back.

Yes, the editor is taking too much resources and crashes sometimes.
I’m using windows 11 and latest version of Cursor.
However, today morning is looking better and it is running faster
Try booting into safe mode and check if the problem persists using this command in the terminal: cursor --disable-extensions. If everything is okay, then the issue is with one of the extensions. You can try to identify it by opening Process Explorer.
