Describe the Bug

I just started using cursor, the chat agent is changing code without permission. This is bad.

Steps to Reproduce

Cursor default settings upon installation.

Expected Behavior

The cursor IDE is editing the code base without permission

Operating System

Windows 10/11

Current Cursor Version (Menu → About Cursor → Copy)

Hey, if you just want to chat, use the ask mode. You can also create custom modes.
