I have been fairly (probably overly) critical of Cursor the last couple of months but some aspects are really really nice for example the MacOs menubar functionality. I know you guys are doing your best even if I get impatient with hooks etc.
Anyway I would love Cursor to be able to extend this functionality - maybe something like ChatGPT does when you press cmd+space to launch the popout. I’d love to be able to continue a conversation with Cursor without having to tab back to the IDE itself
Sometimes a build will fail while preparing to debug in Chrome, and I only want to instruct the agent to run a command like fix-build.md and stay in the zone.
I know I can just tab to Cursor but it takes me out of “Design Pete” and back into “Coder Pete” focusing on the IDE, and tabbing back to Chrome.
Definitely more of a nice to have feature but wanted to put it out there.
