It seems that Cursor’s managers/devs have little or no interest in solving the problem. Currently I too, like many here, am in this situation and so far there is still no solution.

Well, i started experiencing this yesterday. Not only the slow response but agent tools broke. I believe it is because of this error which appeared at the same time. I’m not sure if cursor issues client side updates, but without puppeteer the agents can’t do anything and just get stuck waiting forever, which might be what some people are seeing? For me, it just hangs on the tool call and then times out.
If you encounter this error, temporarily switch to Agent mode. Chat mode is currently blocked.

For over 12 hours now
Just tested it again, still not working (no request id shown, no error msgs, nothing, just the agent ghosting me)
haven’t had this happen yet, normally just it stopping during a prompt / edit and saying we’re having trouble connecting.
I can restart and rerun it and it happens again.

Once I upgrade to v0.48.x both on Ubuntu and MacOS, chat does not work anymore on both machines with all models, it kept generating but no response after half an hour( I tried multiple times)

My quota is still not used up but there is no any prompt to show what is behind, I do not have the output such as we’re experiencing high demand for the selected model
Hey, have you tried starting a new chat? Usually, that should solve the issue.
