Cursor not highlighting # headers and some other syntax in markdown files

Describe the Bug

Hi Preview works fine in my cursor however when I’m just viewing raw .md file parts with `` and

are highlighted. But #, ##, ** ***, etc. aren’t it works fine in VS Code, why is this functionality broken in cursor?

Steps to Reproduce

Open .md file with syntax features like # , ##, ** **, __ __ in cursor

Expected Behavior

It should be highlighted

Does this stop you from using Cursor

No - Cursor works, but with this issue

In VSCode

Cursor’s dark theme seems to be the culprit. Change your theme to a different one and it should fix it.
