Cursor not reading code files and chat not responding

Describe the Bug

Suddenly cursor is not able to load the code files when I click on it is loading but I can’t see the code. Also chat is not responding and also some files and folders are back in the project folder which was deleted earlier, reinstalled many times but not working, please help. Cursor is not able to index the project it is loading, I have many files but still it’s been 30 mins and it’s still indexing.

Steps to Reproduce

I was cleaning my project folder so I deleted few folders and created new folder to restructure but now it came back and cursor not responding

Hey, the loader usually hangs due to some issues in Cursor. Some extensions might be performing analysis or formatting, causing the interface to become unresponsive. Try restarting Cursor, or close and reopen the project from the “Open Folder” menu. You can also try starting in safe mode with cursor --disable-extensions.
