Cursor not running commands anymore

Hi,

For several days, I haven’t been able to get Cursor to run any commands.
I’ve checked everything: YOLO mode is activated, I’m in Agent mode, and even in the command suggestions that Cursor generates, auto-run is selected.

I’ve tried specifying exactly which commands are allowed to run, as well as removing all restrictions and allowing “all commands.”
Nothing seems to work. I’ve checked old reports, but those users didn’t seem to be using Agent mode, which is not my case.

Could this be related to pricing? Do only certain models have the ability to run commands?

Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Thank you.

Hey, which version of Cursor are you using? I don’t think it’s about the model or auto mode. I just checked, and everything works for me. I added the dotnet command to the allowlist, and as you can see in the screenshot, it doesn’t require approval, even in auto mode.

I’ve checked and I don’t have any update to make.

I had the same issue, and managed to resolve it by removing the YOLO prompt.

With a prompt specifying npm commands could be run, it didn’t run them.
With just YOLO and no settings, it runs the command.

Weird bug.
