Executes commands without permission

Describe the Bug

Auto mode sometimes executes commands without permission, it even deleted a file without authorisation. I cannot comment on what happens when Auto mode is disabled, as I have already hit a rate limit just a few days into my billing cycle.

Steps to Reproduce

In agent mode, add a prompt to complete the task.

hi @positron thank you for the bug report, apologies that I saw your report just now.

There are changes to auto-run, could you check settings and compare with the allowlist? note denylist is being deprecated.

Could you share more what commands were run that shouldn’t per allowlist?

If you could also share a Request ID (with privacy disabled so we can review what happened) it would help.

It looks like the new update has enabled Auto-Run settings by default, or perhaps the update itself turned them on. Previously, I had it disabled during usage. Also, I noticed a UI change, the new version displays a dropdown menu and shifts cursor focus to it. So when I think I am editing code, the focus is actually on the dropdown, and pressing Enter ends up executing the selected command. This behaviour was not present earlier.

I see, thanks for the update. Will forward it to developers.

Hey, yes, sorry about that. We’re releasing an update soon that should fix this issue. In the meantime, you can switch to the previous version. You can download it here:
