Cursor Pro: 1000 queries, 3.5 Sonnet and o1

Hello!

So let me preface that I absolutely love Cursor and really enjoying using it before heading into the critique. :slight_smile: I never join forums like this, I’m here cause I care and want Cursor to succeed over the long haul.

Now. I had just upgraded my monthly quota from 500 to 1000 calls but since the release of o1 all my calls are going to o1 instead of Sonnet (which is not covered in the monthly quota, Sonnet is). Now the issue is that I likely will never reach the 1000 call that I upgraded to because of o1. I’ll probably not even use up the first 500 calls. So what am I really paying for per month? Surely it would be fair to give me X credits a month to use with o1 since I’m already paying extra for extra bandwidth (which could drain from my 1000 calls) until empty and then proceed with usage based pricing.

Feeling ripped off right now to be honest!

You can lower your level from 1000 to 500. Regarding the o1 model, yes, it’s based on usage-based pricing, which doesn’t suit everyone. However, it consumes a lot of funds, so it was decided to handle it this way. If you only need the o1 model, you’ll need a PRO plan to access it, even though it’s billed separately. Hopefully, in the near future, this situation will change and the o1 model will be included in the PRO plan.
