Hello, does anyone know about the Cursor Pro subscription? Is it correct that there is no longer a 500 quota fast request, and instead it uses a rate limit?
seems like yes, waiting for someone from cursor to give a word on this
thanks for sharing!
so no more 500 quota right ? its unlimited for a month ?
I’d also like to know how to swap between the two plans.
please share to me that how can I toggle to unlimited requests.
Unlimited requests are NOT THERE YET, it will be rolled out in a few days.
And it’s “unlimited” only in the name. It will be rate limited, meaning a limited amount of requests per some period of time - a minute, hour, day, perhaps all of them in some combination.
And it’s highly possible that we’ll never learn those limits.
Actually it’s on now. Mine is showing me the unlimited request after few minutes of showing me 500 requests.
Same here now. We were promised we can stay on the old plan if we want to. I do want to. I still had 497 fast requests to use up.
Now you just need to find how to switch back to it. I believe the unlimited plan is good but there would be instance where the servers gonna be heavy and we might be restricted with the 10 prompts per 10 mins or etc kind of rate limits. Let’s see how it goes.
But now the response is very slow.
Yes that was expected! But hoping with a week it will be settled! I was mentally prepared for slow response
Link?
I also would like to stay on 500 requests Pro plan. I tend to work in bursts. Some days I work on projects where I don’t use Cursor. Other days I use Cursor quite intensively so I am concerned I will be rate limited. So far I never exceeded provided 500 requests per month even with thinking models. So having 500 requests PRO plan will work much better for me.
Why did they auto-switch us into this new plan? I just want my fast 500 requests option.
To switch back to the old plan.
Go to your dashboard on cursors website.
On the left hand side click settings
Then click Advanced Account Settings and
Click Opt Out of New Pricing.
If you dont see this try holding CTL-F5 to force a refresh.
