What does Pro users get?

Does pro users get slow requests in Claude models like sonnet 7 and 4 after 500 fast completion Or pro users have only 500 promos to pro models and after that slow models ?

After you use up your 500 fast requests, Opus 4 and Sonnet 4 are unavailable in slow requests. You can use Gemini 2.5 pro or o3 instead.

Or you can switch to the new fancy unlimited mode where you will possibly hit rate limits.

We’ll all be smarter in a month about how the new changes to Pro account turn out working.

Copilot users complain all the time about their rate limits, and if Github can’t reach a better deal, chances are Cursor can’t either.

Unclear as of today, see pinned post.

How should I switch back?

Not yet, in a few days probably.

To switch back, go to your dashboard on cursors website. On the left hand side click settings and then click Advanced Account Settings and click Opt Out of New Pricing.

If you dont see this try holding CTL-F5 for force a refresh.

Thanks, that works. But there’s no button to opt in again!

Hey, we’re working on this as we speak (if not already available).

You can switch back in the settings and have a look.

Yep, the Opt-In button should now be available in the settings.

The new pricing looks promising. I almost considered switching to Claude Code for that reason, so hopefully it will work in a similar way, but what about team plan? We had 1000 fast requests per month and now we have only 500, Sonnet 4 price changes from 0.75 per request to 2. So effectively we have 250 requests. What do we expect? Is the new pricing model going to be applied to team plans as well? I don’t see an option to opt in for the new pricing.
