New Pricing tier? Pro+?

hello so far I have been loving cursor pro but the only this is I don’t have enough of the Fast tool calls limit.

I know we have the first 500 calls per month but in a normal month this only helps me for a max of 2 weeks total to use the nice Claude 4 models.

I really don’t need anything else just the fast tool call limit to be increased for maybe a higher monthly price?

Let’s say normal monthly price for pro now is $20 per mo. So what about an option lets say for an extra $5-15 per month (depending on what makes sence for your business) but get to have like 1,000 or 1,200 fast tool call limit for like $25-$40? maybe even a pick your own pro tier with different amounts per month: $25 = an extra 150 calls or 650 total, where $40 should get you at least 1,000 fast calls.

I really think you would have a big market demand for something like that. I know I would GLADLY pay for that much. where as getting the Ultra subscription is definitely a bit much for the average person.

The new pricing system means that Pro users on the new system won’t have any tool call limits now!

The only limits is the “rate limiting”, which we don’t believe most users will see in normal usage of Cursor.

How are rate limits timed under the new Pro plan?

Quick question to anyone familiar with the new Pro subscription limits:

Are the rate limits enforced per month, per day, or over some rolling window (like per X hours)? I’m trying to understand how usage is measured.

Also, do the limits differ based on:

Model (e.g., Opus vs. Sonnet)?

Whether you’re using “thinking” mode or not?

Just trying to gauge how many intensive prompts I can run without hitting slowdowns or restrictions. Any clarity would be appreciated!

I really wish the Ultra plan was tiered. 2x ($40), 5x ($50), 10x ($100), 20x ($200), 30x ($300)

I am not sure about that.
I asked Cursor to generate some Architecture documentation and a 12 week design plan for me to follow which it did, about 5000 characters worth of markdown documents and I found I could no longer log into Cursor and when I was able to, it said I hit a rate limit.

What is the rate limit?
