Cursor used to work really well but since about 2 months, literally on day 3-5 of new billing it stops working and by this I mean the quality of code goes 90% down and the “agent” mode is disabled. It does not even seem to be related to payments - I enabled usage-based pricing and I still get ■■■■ code. I complained a month ago and they did something and it worked for 5 days. now it is back to poor quality again. I presume it is related to “agent” mode which you purposefully disable after 2-5 days of use and not enable anymore at all. not even when i enabled usage-based pricing.
Just to be perfectly frank Cursor is not work $20 for 3 days of high quality AI and then “■■■■ code” mode. Honestly, without this agent mode I can as well just connect claude API and the outcome will be the same but cheaper. I would appreciate clarification and enabling me this agent mode again since this is exactly what I have paid for.
