I did empty the chat history, checkt my CPU, created a new folder, everything that I could think of. but this is really slow I am getting nuts if I enter a promt and it takes 5 min vor a very small promt and than I have to do it again if it doesent do it right. do you guys have any idea? what I can do or what would be the issue? .. and now its not the internet I love cursor and I dont want to switch to another product
Confirmed bug.

I would paste the request id in my thread found here Why are Claude 3.5/3.7 slow requests so extra-slow now? - #9 by danperks.

Very Slow since yesterday , even the performance to write code dropped too much , ate 120 credits but still cant solve a logic a simple Laravel issue. It was perfect before that . Did the update trash it ?
seams like it … ;(
Me too >5 minutes per response for Sonnet 3.7. And all other models just cannot work well in the Agent mode of Cursor.
Hi, please open your console (in the command palette, Developer: Toggle Developer Tools) and send us screenshots of any errors you see here!
And you can provide information about your device by clicking Help—About to make it easier for officials to find the problem.
Since about last week, Cursor’s response time has become very slow.
In particular, the time between submitting a prompt and receiving output has increased significantly, now taking around 5-10 minutes, and the accuracy has clearly declined as well.
Other models still provide the same user experience as the previous Claude 3.7 Sonnet (but Sonnet’s accuracy is better).
Same here in Ontario, Canada. It is taking 5 to 10 minutes to get an answer back with a paid subscription. This seems to have been caused after it was announced that students would have access for free. Are you guys trying to scale too fast without having the proper backbone in place ??.. This is incredibly painfully slow right now.
I also am having this issue this past week. I still have plenty of fasts requests left. My model is set to auto and my chat to agent.
here it’s also taking around 20 minutes to get a unique response from any specific model even with paid subscription and already paid for faster answer before, no matter what I choose claude 3.x, gemini, deepseek… it’s quick only when I use choose AUTO model but I don’t like it.
I am also on AUTO and AGENT which is fine for me but there is a definite loss of speed, making actual work very difficult. This was absolutely not the case prior to the students’ announcement.
