Leave your laptop behind and keep working with Cursor from your phone.
The situation
In the morning you ask the Agent to fix a bug. The project is on a GPU server you reach through an SSH remote window. Then you’re commuting, in meetings, or travelling, and the laptop stays at the office. Meanwhile the Agent finishes a turn, stops to wait for you to click Run, or asks you a question, and sits there for hours.
What you need isn’t a quick look at your screen. You need your Cursor: your local code and data, your SSH servers, your setup.
What exists today
- Official mobile app + Remote Control: iPhone/iPad only, needs a paid plan, and only covers the Agents window. Conversations in the editor or in an SSH window can’t be continued.
- Remote desktop: a shrunken desktop on a phone screen, tiny buttons, heavy on data, and no alert when the Agent needs you.
What I built
Cursor Remote Lite runs a small relay on your computer that drives the real Cursor there over the Chrome DevTools Protocol, and gives your phone a UI designed for phones:
- Answer the Agent’s questions (the questionnaire shows up on the phone)
- Get a push notification and approve commands (Run / Accept)
- Give it the next task; messages sent while it’s busy are queued
- Keep or undo each changed file (undo asks first)
- Every window: local, SSH remote, Agents. Switch mode, model and reasoning effort
- Send images, preview files, expand subagents
Your code and chats stay on your computer; the phone reaches it through a Cloudflare tunnel, so it doesn’t need to be on the same Wi-Fi. Android app, plus Add to Home Screen on iPhone. Pairing is a one-time QR code.

Limits: the computer must stay awake; startup and background-service scripts are macOS-only for now (Windows needs a manual start); it reads Cursor’s UI, so a big redesign may need an update. Inspired by len5ky/CursorRemote; this is a free, from-scratch version.
