I have a Astro website that didn’t have the images optimized in /src/assets/images but rather they were in the public folder.
I’m trying to get Astro to work with me to switch them over obviously moving the images over is not a big deal but getting all of the code in place swapping IMG over to image tags and such.
For every file every step of the way Astro is deleting accompanying CSS and formatting it’s even messing and f**king with the font colors something will be 700 cursor will make it 800. I have a cursor rules file in place, I’m calling it out and this is not just one time this is every single time. This is not a complicated site it’s fairly simple I’m just new at this.
Are there any issues right now I checked with the anthropomorphic Claude status page and it seems operational.
I also tried this with chatgpt. Same issues, it couldn’t even find or locate where the images were located and then hallucinated and made up that they’re in blog/images.
