Just adding for reference, I did a search for ‘Apply not working’ and here are some of the results - no definitive solutions I could find, but this sort of behaviour does seem to be resolved over time and with new releases etc:
Cursor was working fine most of the day but earlier this afternoon Apply Changes in chat (Cmd+L) stopped working. Also noticed that Conposer stopped applying changes to files.
Unsure if this has to do with my fast requests being used up since I’ve been using a ton of slow requests all day long…
Got a code with 1000 lines of code (python), when I try to apply changes that cursor recommends, it just does a few lines / or even nothing and just says done.
It is so time consuming and buggy, I have the pro version of Cursor but will not extend if you guys do not fix it.
I hope for a fast fix!
Hello. I am using Cursor. When I ask the AI a question in the chat and press the Apply button, it doesn’t apply. Even in files where I haven’t written any code, it doesn’t apply. Is there any solution for this?
I am asking the AI questions in Japanese. I haven’t registered for a paid plan or API.
This happens sometimes, I didn’t catch a pattern yet but if I have a long conversation and it stops applying code as expected, it doesn’t apply on a new chat as well.

Perhaps when you get back to your desktop, you could share a screenshot of the undesired behaviour (with any private info redacted ofcourse).
Oh and also copy/paste system info from:
