After opening Cursor and choosing the project ‘loading chat’ message appears then error appears The window is not responding with buttons
Reopen, Close, Keep Waiting
After each of enabling actions the result is the same
Steps to Reproduce
I don’t know. Just open a project with Cursor
Windows restarting doesn’t help, before this case everything worked correctly

It shouldn’t stuck

Hey, which version of Cursor are you using? This issue is typically related to having a large chat history in your project. To resolve it, try manually deleting most of the history, especially the oldest chats. You can also try renaming or moving the project to quickly clear the history.

VS Code 1.96.2
How am I able to delete old history in chat as far as it doesn’t appear at all.
Is there any workaround?

You can delete the history by navigating to this path and sorting the folders by modification date. Choose the folder that was used recently and delete it.
