Not sure why more people are not screaming about this. The most disruptive part of inline AI code suggestions is how the suggestion blocks out the existing line so I cannot work on it / see what the suggestion is looking to replace. This has been reported very well here:

But it is currently closed as a forum thread. Coming from other IDEs, this is a solved problem, but cursor gets it so very wrong.

No - Cursor works, but with this issue
