Cursor – The Only AI IDE That Blocks Claude Sonnet 4 for Trial Users?

Describe the Bug

Hi everyone,

I’m really disappointed. Cursor is the only AI IDE I’ve tried that doesn’t allow access to Claude Sonnet 4 for trial users. Other platforms at least offer limited access to test it — but Cursor blocks it completely unless you pay.

How are we supposed to evaluate the tool if the best feature is locked from the start?

I expected better from an AI-focused product.

Anyone else frustrated by this?

It’s disappointing that while other IDEs like Augment provide Claude 4 access in their trials, Cursor is the only one that restricts it. :slightly_frowning_face:
