Sending a prompt to fix a potential issue, it first goes ahead and implements something, then is going to implement more to fix the issue completely but as soon as it starts to think for the second time, it goes ahead and replies wrong and takes the first prompt that I have sent in the start of the conversation. What the hell is going on? Lost so many requests because of this.
Happening with both Claude 4 sonnet and o3, haven’t tried other models.
One temporary fix I noticed is to close cursor completely and reopen in between new prompts to overcome the issue.

Hey, could you let me know how long your conversation in this chat has been? Also, could you share the request ID? For this, you need to disable privacy mode if it’s enabled, then reproduce the issue when it happens again and copy the ID.
